The MIRIMAR was built in Brisbane and launched on the 13th of June 1934.  Proudly made from Queensland timber, she was Brisbane’s largest, and oldest, launch vessel with a total length of 96 feet so the crew welcome you to “Come aboard and be part of our History.”

After many successful years in the Brisbane River and Moreton Bay as a showboat and during wartime as a supply vessel with the Australian Army the ‘Mirimar’ was taken to Nth Queensland for 17years where she was used for inter-island cruises.  When she returned to Brisbane in 1986 she was completely restored.
